Field Support Specialist (Freelance / Dispatch)

About the role

We are looking for a Freelance Field Support Specialist to provide on‑site IT assistance across the Ghlin‑Mons area. The role involves installing, configuring, and maintaining desktop computers, peripherals, and software while delivering high‑touch support for audio‑visual and conference room technology.

Key responsibilities

• Install, move, add, and change (IMAC) IT assets, including laptops, desktops, printers, scanners, and mobile phones.
• Perform hardware repairs, spare part replacement, and troubleshooting in partnership with OEM vendors.
• Manage inventory, imaging, and labeling of laptops, desktops, racks, and servers.
• Provide VIP and conference‑room support, handling AV equipment, networking, and Office 365 services.
• Execute LAN connectivity troubleshooting, DHCP/DNS configuration, and server rack mounting or movement.
• Coordinate vendor support, procurement, and maintain IT documentation and SLA compliance.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently on‑site.
• Experience delivering hands‑on support for both Windows and Mac environments.
• Comfortable working after hours and supporting recurring meetings or events.
