Field Service Engineer – Wallonia & Luxembourg

About the role

Join Stryker as a Field Service Engineer supporting hospitals across Wallonia and Luxembourg. You will ensure the performance, safety, and regulatory compliance of advanced medical technologies, directly contributing to better patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Perform in‑depth troubleshooting of mechanical, electronic, and firmware systems.
• Repair, reassemble, calibrate, and adjust equipment to specification.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis on recurring failures and implement corrective actions.
• Generate complete service documentation, including reports, non‑conformities, and test certificates.
• Use diagnostic instruments such as oscilloscopes, calibration tools, and torque management devices.
• Apply QMS, CAPA, traceability, and EHS/ISO requirements in daily work.
• Identify anomalies, escalate issues appropriately, and contribute to process and product improvements.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in field service engineering.
• Fluency in French and professional working proficiency in English.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Basic technical knowledge of electronics and/or mechanical systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related technical field (preferred).
• Knowledge of medical‑device servicing and regulatory standards (preferred).
• Proficiency in Dutch and experience with service‑management or technical documentation systems (preferred).
