Field Service Engineer – Vascular Modality

About the role

GE HealthCare is looking for a Field Service Engineer for its vascular modality business in Diegem. The engineer meets the daily service, repair and maintenance needs of customers' equipment and drives customer satisfaction through Service Excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Handle basic troubleshooting, installation, maintenance and service repair of designated equipment
• Complete preventative maintenance and field modification instructions
• Order and manage repair parts cycle times
• Maintain customer service logs and internal service records
• Keep daily contact with customers to ensure resolution and follow-up
• Maintain and calibrate tools and test equipment
• Meet health, safety and environmental regulatory requirements
• Manage vendor service delivery in line with GE Healthcare policies and use the escalation process and root cause analysis to solve problems
• Work with the local team to serve all accounts in the assigned area and join an on-call rotation providing remote support by phone
• Comply with the Quality Manual and Quality Management System, complete quality and compliance training on time, and report quality or compliance concerns to the Quality Organization

Required profile

• Diploma in electronics or electromechanics
• Experience interfacing with internal team members and external customers in a solution-based service process
• Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical and/or electronic equipment
• Experience troubleshooting and responding to customer concerns
• Dutch and English required; French is a plus
