Facility Management Team Lead

About the role

We are seeking a Facility Management Team Lead to oversee the day‑to‑day operational and tactical management of facility services for Brussels Airlines. The role combines hands‑on leadership of a small FM team with responsibility for technical, infrastructural and commercial aspects of our facilities, within the Lufthansa Group “One Real Estate” framework.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure reliable operation and maintenance of building technical systems such as HVAC, electrical, elevators, access control and fire‑safety systems.
• Plan and coordinate maintenance schedules, repairs, upgrades and e‑mobility infrastructure.
• Manage workplace services including cleaning, floor management, meeting‑room setup, landscaping and seasonal services.
• Oversee mail, logistics, catering, vending and employee parking services.
• Control FM budgets, monitor costs, contribute to multi‑year investment planning and handle property‑related financial reporting.
• Lead contract and service‑provider management, monitor SLAs and ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Act as internal client representative for construction, refurbishment and small‑scale projects.

Required profile

• Proven experience in facility management or related technical services.
• Strong organisational and leadership abilities to manage a small team and multiple service providers.
• Good understanding of HSE regulations and budgetary control.
