Event Marketing Manager

About the role

Materialise is looking for an Event Marketing Manager to own the end‑to‑end strategy, planning, coordination and execution of its global and headquarters events. You will blend strategic marketing thinking with operational precision to turn each event into an integrated, on‑brand marketing moment that drives measurable business impact.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to event feasibility, format and strategic fit before approval.
• Take full ownership of approved global and HQ events from confirmation to completion, ensuring alignment with business unit OKRs and the broader marketing strategy.
• Define event objectives, target audiences, success criteria and the full event marketing plan, including channel mix, pre‑event campaigns, on‑site activation and post‑event follow‑up.
• Collaborate with Marketing Managers, creative, digital, content, automation and data teams to produce required assets and campaigns.
• Partner with Sales, Business Development and Sales Enablement to align lead handling, customer meetings and attribution logic.
• Manage vendor contracts, logistics, procurement, facilities and external partners.
• Prepare internal communication materials such as event briefs, talking points and logistics guides.
• Act as the main point of contact during event preparation and on‑site execution, overseeing booth setup, partner coordination and live coverage.

Required profile

• Strong organizational and project‑management abilities, with a track record of handling complex, global events.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with marketing, sales, procurement and external partners.
• Detail‑oriented mindset, ensuring every aspect of an event is on brand and measurable.
• Experience defining event objectives, audience targeting and success metrics aligned with business goals.
