Enterprise Architect – Transversal Role

About the role

Gaming1, a leading international provider of land‑based and online gaming solutions, is seeking an Enterprise Architect to shape its enterprise‑wide capability roadmap. Reporting to the Head of Enterprise Architecture, you will act as a bridge between business strategy and technology execution across multiple domains.

Key responsibilities

• Own and continuously evolve the Enterprise Capability Map, aligning it with strategic initiatives and capability maturity.
• Define and maintain the Target Architecture for a transversal scope, assessing current and future landscapes, identifying gaps, and proposing coherent directions.
• Establish architecture principles, guardrails, and decision criteria to enable autonomous domain teams while ensuring enterprise coherence.
• Guide the evolution of the distributed platform, addressing service boundaries, communication models, orchestration vs. choreography, and resilience.
• Collaborate with product managers, heads of product, engineering leaders, and senior business stakeholders to translate strategic ambiguity into actionable architecture decisions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in enterprise architecture with a cross‑functional focus.
• Strong ability to reason about distributed solution designs and influence technical decisions.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills to lead without direct reports.

Required skills

• Deep understanding of enterprise‑wide architecture principles and target architecture development.
• Experience with distributed systems concepts such as event‑driven communication, service boundaries, and resilience patterns.
