Engineer – Energy Transition Role

About the role

ENGIE is seeking engineers to support its ambition of a carbon‑neutral economy by 2045. The position offers the chance to work on power plant and renewable operations—including batteries, wind and hydro—as well as infrastructure projects within the Engineering Buro (Tractebel) and the sales and energy management teams.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in the operation and optimisation of power plants and renewable assets.
• Contribute to civil‑engineering projects such as road, water and structural works.
• Support energy‑market analysis and data‑driven decision making for sales and energy management.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safety, efficiency and sustainability.

Required profile

• Industrial or civil engineering degree (electro‑mechanics, chemistry, physics, electronics or civil engineering).
• Fluency in Dutch or French and English.
• Recent graduates or professionals with experience in infrastructure, power‑market or renewable‑energy domains.
