Embedded Software Engineer – Linux & Microcontroller Development

About the role

Infratech, part of the Netceed group, is looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to join its growing team in Thimister-Clermont. You will work on new and existing products, primarily in a Linux environment, and contribute to the development of microcontroller‑based solutions for the utilities sector.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and analyse product requirements and define realistic development schedules with the project manager.
• Design, develop, and integrate new software components or modify existing ones.
• Prepare unit tests, conduct peer code reviews, and maintain technical documentation.
• Debug and resolve defects tracked in the defect‑tracking system.
• Provide client support and assist in planning activities.
• Collaborate within an agile team, handling multiple projects simultaneously.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
• Strong knowledge of C/C++ programming.
• Experience with Linux development (kernel modification, Yocto, shell scripting).
• Background in embedded development on microcontrollers.
• Fluent in French and working knowledge of English.
• Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working autonomously.
