Embedded Software Engineer

About the role

As an Embedded Software Engineer you will work on low‑level software, embedded Linux platforms and secure system architecture to deliver highly reliable products.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain embedded software in C/C++ for Linux‑based systems.
• Develop board support packages (BSP), device drivers and integrate low‑level platform components.
• Customize and maintain Embedded Linux distributions using Yocto and Buildroot.
• Support system bring‑up, debugging, performance optimisation and hardware interaction.
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware and cybersecurity teams to ensure secure system design.
• Participate in code reviews, testing and continuous integration activities.

Required profile

• Strong experience in embedded software development.
• Commercial experience with C and/or C++.
• Good knowledge of Embedded Linux environments.
• Experience with Yocto and/or Buildroot.
• Understanding of low‑level interfaces and hardware interaction.
• Familiarity with debugging tools and cross‑compilation environments.
• Comfortable working in Agile engineering teams.
