About the role

The U.S. Embassy in Belgium is looking for a professional Chauffeur to operate embassy vehicles and transport official visitors in support of U.S. Government activities. This full‑time role requires maintaining a clean, serviceable vehicle and ensuring safe, punctual travel for diplomatic personnel.

Key responsibilities

• Operate embassy vehicles for official trips, adhering to security and safety protocols.
• Maintain the interior and exterior cleanliness of the vehicle.
• Conduct basic vehicle inspections according to established schedules.
• Prepare trip reports, vehicle usage logs, and fuel consumption estimates.
• Coordinate with the General Services Office for scheduling and vehicle allocation.

Required profile

• Secondary school diploma.
• Minimum three years of professional driving experience.
• Valid Category C driver’s license.
• Working knowledge of English and good knowledge of French or Dutch.

Required skills

• Proficiency in vehicle inspection and basic maintenance.
• Accurate record‑keeping for trip and fuel logs.
