Electrical Site Supervisor

About the role

The Electrical Site Supervisor will lead the daily on‑site electrical activities for substation, battery park and related infrastructure projects. You will ensure work is carried out safely, on schedule and to the highest quality standards while coordinating a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organise and supervise daily work programmes for site personnel.
• Deliver safety briefings, toolbox talks and Point of Work Risk Assessments.
• Manage site deliveries, material handling and equipment availability.
• Oversee construction, maintenance, wiring and installation of substation plant and equipment.
• Verify compliance with RAMS, lifting plans, technical drawings and client specifications.
• Control permits to work, access limitations and pre‑work safety inspections.
• Coordinate with engineering, design, quality and safety teams to resolve issues.
• Support the Construction Manager with quality assurance and ITP documentation.
• Chair progress meetings, prepare minutes and provide regular reports.
• Investigate accidents, hazards and near‑misses and promote continuous safety improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience in substation construction, electrical installation or battery‑park projects.
• Strong knowledge of health, safety, environmental and quality requirements in construction/energy.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, RAMS and lifting plans.
• Experience supervising site teams and managing resources and materials.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high‑quality delivery.
