EHS Analytical Laboratory Technician – LC‑MS

About the role

As an EHS Analytical Laboratory Technician in the Global Environment, Health and Safety Laboratory, you will support LC‑MS testing operations and process environmental samples from preparation to data logging while collaborating with researchers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Support liquid chromatography–mass spectrometry (LC‑MS) testing operations.
• Process environmental samples through the full analytical workflow, including container preparation, target compound extraction, instrument operation and data entry.
• Collaborate with researchers and laboratory technicians across multiple global locations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, life sciences or chemical engineering.
• Hands‑on experience with basic laboratory equipment such as pipettes, analytical balances, centrifuges and SPE manifolds.
• Strong volumetric techniques and dilution calculation skills.
• Knowledge of solid phase extraction sample‑preparation methods.
• Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail, curiosity and eagerness to learn.
• Proficiency in Dutch and English.
