Domain Architect – Acquisition & Interaction (Liège, Belgium)

About the role

The Domain Architect for the Acquisition & Interaction (A&I) Cluster will shape and drive the strategic architecture that underpins acquisition marketing, customer communication and digital engagement. Working autonomously, you will translate high‑level domain strategy into concrete roadmaps and guide engineering teams to deliver measurable business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain the A&I architectural vision, guardrails and roadmaps.
• Collaborate with product, engineering and analytics teams to ensure solutions align with business goals.
• Evaluate proposed designs, challenge unnecessary complexity and enforce integration with analytics, experimentation and DataMesh.
• Document architectures, processes and capabilities using tools such as Ardoq.
• Lead due‑diligence and deep analysis of complex acquisition and engagement domains.
• Act as a hands‑on problem‑solver, stepping into operational details to unblock delivery.

Required profile

• Deep understanding of acquisition marketing, customer communication funnels and behavioral analytics, preferably in regulated or complex industries.
• Strong knowledge of tracking, attribution, conversion optimisation and customer journey orchestration.
• Holistic architectural thinking combined with pragmatic, hands‑on execution ability.
• Proven ability to operate independently, challenge assumptions constructively and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting architecture concepts clearly and persuasively.
