Document Controller

About the role

Arcadis is seeking a Document Controller to support the production and management of project deliverables for multi‑million Euro construction projects. Based in Liège with regular travel to the client site in Bissen, you will ensure that drawings, documents and data are accurate, compliant and readily available to internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and maintain project drawings and documents in line with Arcadis, client and industry standards.
• Assist in managing project resources to meet scope, deadlines and quality requirements.
• Identify and communicate project risks, issues and compliance matters to senior managers.
• Collect, analyse and report data to support decision‑making and performance monitoring.
• Liaise with project teams to resolve queries and ensure high‑quality information flow.
• Monitor project KPIs, performance metrics and document‑process compliance.
• Recommend and implement improvements to project processes, policies and technology solutions.

Required profile

• 3‑5+ years of document control experience on large construction projects.
• Fluent in English and French.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to coordinate complex project aspects.
• Self‑motivated, proactive and capable of working under broad direction.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
• Advanced use of Adobe Acrobat for PDF creation and editing.
• Experience with electronic data management systems.
