About the role
EY‑Parthenon is seeking a Director to lead its Financial Due Diligence practice within the Transactions & Corporate Finance team. You will work with private equity and corporate clients throughout the full transaction lifecycle, delivering rigorous analysis that informs deal decisions and post‑completion integration.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct financial due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions, identifying material issues and assessing their impact.
- Analyse business drivers, financial statements, and operational data to produce actionable insights.
- Engage regularly with target companies and client stakeholders at all levels.
- Prepare and present deliverables, including detailed reports and client presentations.
- Collaborate with team members, sharing responsibility for project execution and quality.
- Coach junior staff and contribute technical expertise to the department.
Required profile
- Master’s degree (or equivalent) and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in transactions, M&A, or corporate finance.
- Fluent in Dutch, French, and English.
- Strong accounting knowledge and the ability to build relationships across senior levels.
- Demonstrated project‑management capability and professional assertiveness.
- Enrollment in the CFA program is a plus.
Required skills
- Advanced Excel spreadsheet modelling.
