Director, Brussels Partnerships Office

About the role

The Director of the Brussels Partnerships Office provides senior leadership for UNOPS in Brussels, modelling UNOPS values and fostering an inclusive, high‑performing team culture. Reporting to the Director of the Partnerships and Futures Group, the role is a senior representative responsible for the conduct, integrity and reputation of the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and deepen relationships with assigned key partners across UN agencies, multilateral banks, donors, governments and the private sector.
• Drive partnership development, partner engagement and opportunity development to scale up and speed up delivery for impact.
• Lead a local partnerships team, ensuring alignment with UNOPS strategic priorities and intelligence‑driven engagement.
• Accountable for growing the volume and value of the portfolio of engagements with the office’s key partners.
• Collaborate with HQ groups and geographic offices on partner segment strategies and opportunity development.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in partnership management or international development.
• Demonstrated ability to represent an organization at senior levels and uphold high standards of conduct and integrity.
• Strong understanding of UNOPS strategic priorities and the Sustainable Development Goals.
• Experience leading teams and fostering an inclusive, high‑performance culture.
