Digital & Communications Manager

About the role

EMPN is looking for a Digital & Communications Manager to own the end‑to‑end outreach of its policy research. Based in Brussels with flexible remote options, you will bridge the gap between rigorous analysis and the audiences that need it.

Key responsibilities

• Manage EMPN’s website: publish papers, events, launch pages and ensure performance and up‑to‑date content.
• Lead digital marketing through HubSpot: build audience segments, design and run campaigns, grow the newsletter and monitor results.
• Transform analysts’ work into multi‑channel communications (newsletters, LinkedIn, X, press releases) and coordinate translation of partner publications.
• Maintain media relations, distribute press releases and support analysts in securing coverage.
• Collaborate with the AI‑automation expert to integrate AI tools with the outreach stack, automating workflows across CRM, website and production.
• Oversee budget for external service providers (design, video, translation, development) and potentially manage an intern.

Required profile

• AI‑native professional who embeds artificial‑intelligence tools into daily work.
• Strong background in digital marketing and CRM management, preferably with HubSpot.
• Ability to work autonomously, own a function and coordinate with senior analysts and technical staff.
• Excellent written communication skills to adapt complex policy content for diverse audiences.
