DevOps Engineer (Cloud & CI/CD)

About the role

Ayesa Digital is seeking a motivated DevOps Engineer to join a high‑impact European Union project. You will work in a highly technical, innovative environment focused on scalable, secure, and data‑driven architectures, supporting the full lifecycle of digital solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor CI/CD pipelines for reliable software delivery.
• Automate deployment processes to ensure consistent, repeatable releases from version control to production.
• Deploy and configure services and applications, optimizing them for production environments.
• Manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform and Ansible, ensuring high availability and scalability.
• Implement and maintain monitoring solutions to track system performance and application health.
• Handle incident management, quickly identifying and resolving production issues.
• Perform performance tuning of applications and infrastructure to optimise resource usage.
• Integrate security practices into CI/CD pipelines and maintain secure configurations.
• Develop internal developer platforms to enable self‑service capabilities for engineering teams.
• Plan and execute upgrades and migrations of the software stack.

Required profile

• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience after higher education.
• Strong experience with containerisation and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Hands‑on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible).
• Solid knowledge of Linux environments.
• Experience with DevOps lifecycle tools (GitLab, Atlassian suite, GitHub).
• Familiarity with static code analysis tools (SonarQube, Fortify, Snyk).
• Experience with repository management tools such as Nexus.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools (Dynatrace, Splunk, or similar).
