Demand Planner

About the role

As a Demand Planner based in Belgium, you will join the Benelux Demand Planning team and work closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Customer Service and other functions. You will be responsible for improving the quality of business planning and key performance indicators such as service level in‑full, forecast accuracy and forecast bias.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the local Sales & Operations planning process, integrating perspectives from all departments.
• Analyse KPI trends, identify root causes and drive improvements in service level, forecast accuracy and bias.
• Use AI‑assisted and statistical forecasting methods in SAP APO to create unbiased demand plans.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on promotional and product launch forecasts.
• Support regional supply teams to optimise stock distribution, safety stock and agile response to market changes.
• Identify and implement new processes and system enhancements for greater efficiency.
• Contribute proactively to the Benelux Demand Planning community, sharing knowledge and fostering continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Academic degree in Supply Chain, Business or a related field.
• Relevant experience in commercial or demand‑supply planning, preferably in FMCG.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to build effective internal partnerships.
• Proactive problem‑solver with excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Fluency in English; French and Dutch are a plus.
