Data Science Consultant

About the role

Sia is seeking a Data Science Consultant to join its transformation projects across multiple client sites. You will work at the intersection of business analysis, modelling and digital transformation, applying data‑driven techniques to solve complex problems.

Key responsibilities

• Develop predictive models using supervised and unsupervised learning, econometrics and forecasting techniques.
• Design and implement constraint‑optimization and simulation models for operational research challenges.
• Process large and unstructured datasets, applying algorithmic solutions for big‑data environments.
• Contribute to Sia’s internal data‑science offering by researching emerging technologies and market trends.
• Support business development activities, including need definition and participation in commercial initiatives.

Required profile

• University Master or equivalent in applied mathematics, computer science or a related field.
• 0‑3 years of experience in consulting or data‑science projects.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize findings into actionable recommendations.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills; fluent in French, Dutch and English.
• Willingness to undertake temporary assignments abroad.
