Data Analyst – Power BI & Data Modeling

About the role

As a functional Data Analyst at ING you will enable data‑driven decision‑making across the organisation. You will design and optimise Power BI data models, build interactive dashboards and ensure that business teams have rapid access to reliable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Shape and deliver data views/products that answer business questions efficiently.
• Design, optimise and maintain Power BI data models, including hierarchical filtering and multi‑level organisational structures.
• Develop, automate and enhance dashboards and regular reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually).
• Translate complex business requirements into clear data specifications and functional analysis.
• Define and test data quality rules within a structured framework.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand problem statements and drive data‑centric solutions.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to partner with business units.
• Experience translating business needs into technical data requirements.
• Ability to work autonomously in a hybrid environment.
