Data & AI Consultant – Power BI & Databricks

About the role

Volve, part of the Pauwels Solution Group, is seeking a Medior/Senior Data & AI Consultant to help mid‑market companies transform raw data into actionable decisions. You will work on Power BI dashboards, Databricks‑based pipelines, and AI/ML use cases that move from prototype to production.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver Power BI dashboards and reports that provide clear, actionable insights.
• Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines on Databricks using the medallion architecture.
• Collaborate with clients to scope, develop, and deploy AI/ML models, including large language models.
• Create and document clean, scalable data models for business stakeholders.
• Work closely with business and technical teams to translate requirements into data solutions.
• Apply best practices for data quality, lineage, and documentation.

Required profile

• Solid experience with Power BI (or equivalent) and data storytelling.
• Hands‑on experience with Databricks notebooks, pipelines, and Unity Catalog.
• Proficiency in Python or SQL for data transformation and modelling.
• Familiarity with Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, and Data Lake Storage (or equivalent).
• Experience in a consulting or client‑facing environment.
