Cybersecurity Analyst – Threat Detection & Response

About the role

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to monitor, detect, and respond to security threats across our systems and networks. The role involves real‑time threat analysis, vulnerability management, and the implementation of proactive defence strategies to safeguard critical digital assets.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor security systems and identify suspicious activities.
• Analyze security incidents and respond to threats in real time.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and conduct risk analysis.
• Investigate alerts generated by SIEM tools and other security platforms.
• Implement and maintain security policies, controls, and best practices.
• Conduct regular system audits and security checks.
• Support incident response and recovery processes.
• Document findings and prepare detailed security reports.

Required profile

• Basic understanding of network security concepts and protocols.
• Familiarity with firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security solutions.
• Knowledge of common cyber threats, malware, and attack vectors.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience with Linux and Windows security fundamentals.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with SIEM platforms such as Splunk or QRadar.
• Ability to work with firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint protection tools.
• Proficiency in conducting vulnerability assessments and risk analysis.
• Understanding of network security protocols.
