Cyber Security Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Cyber Security Engineer to join our IT and security team. The role involves protecting the organization’s systems, networks and data from cyber threats through implementation, monitoring and response activities.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain security solutions for systems, networks and data.
• Monitor security tools and alerts to detect potential threats and vulnerabilities.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing and risk analysis.
• Investigate and respond to security incidents, coordinating remediation efforts.
• Configure and manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection and SIEM platforms.
• Develop and enforce security policies, procedures and best practices.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure architecture and deployments.
• Perform security audits, compliance assessments and maintain related documentation.
• Stay up‑to‑date with emerging threats, technologies and industry trends.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Professional experience in cybersecurity, network or information security roles.
• Knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls or SOC 2.
• Familiarity with firewalls, VPNs, SIEM tools, endpoint protection and cloud security technologies.
• Understanding of networking protocols, operating systems and system administration.
• Experience with vulnerability management and incident response processes.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and communication abilities.
