Customer Support Representative

About the role

The International Association of Privacy Professionals is seeking a Customer Support Representative for its Brussels office. You will be the primary point of contact for members and customers, ensuring a smooth experience with our products, services, certifications, trainings, and events.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily customer inquiries, including membership benefits, certifications, trainings, and events.
• Provide support to the Brussels team and assist with event logistics across Europe, with travel as needed.
• Handle financial processing related to member and customer transactions.
• Manage inbound and outbound communication via phone and email.
• Advise customers on preparation for IAPP certifications.
• Gather and document feedback on products and services.
• Support ad‑hoc operational priorities and perform additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, or a related field.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
• Advanced English plus an additional language (French, German or Dutch preferred).
• Strong organizational and prioritization abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Understanding of Salesforce or similar CRM tools is a plus.
• Knowledge of data‑protection regulations is a plus.
