Customer Service Employee

About the role

Bleckmann is seeking a Customer Service Employee to act as the link between the company, transport carriers, and international customers. The role focuses on ensuring high customer satisfaction by monitoring transport operations, identifying issues, and supporting solutions. You will be the main point of contact for one or more accounts within a dynamic logistics environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain daily contact with international customers regarding operational transport matters.
• Monitor the progress and execution of transports.
• Advise customers on transport possibilities and identify potential bottlenecks.
• Intervene when problems occur (non‑deliveries, damages, refusals) and propose structural solutions.
• Collect and analyze data, translating it into reports and management information.
• Contribute actively to continuous‑improvement methodology and process optimisations.

Required profile

• Motivated by administrative and analytical tasks.
• Strong communication skills and proactive problem‑solving attitude.
• Ability to work independently while supporting team members when needed.
• Experience in a customer service role.
• Good knowledge of Dutch and English.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• MS Office suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
