Cost Controller – Production & SG&A

About the role

As a Cost Controller at Nitto Belgium you will focus on production costs and SG&A, acting as a business partner for multiple departments. You will provide financial insights, accurate forecasts and support strategic decisions in an international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse budget variances and advise budget owners.
• Identify cost‑optimisation opportunities and implement improvements.
• Contribute to the monthly closing process with emphasis on production costs and SG&A.
• Report monthly group results and key performance indicators.
• Ensure compliance with J‑SOX and internal control frameworks.
• Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for non‑financial stakeholders.

Required profile

• Higher education degree in finance or a related field.
• Initial experience as a controller or in audit.
• Critical and proactive mindset, able to challenge the status quo.
• Strong communication and persuasion skills.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• Experience with SAP.
• Knowledge of Power BI.
