Consultant in Data Science

About the role

Sia is seeking a Consultant in Data Science to join its global consulting team. You will work on transformation projects for clients, applying data‑driven techniques to solve business challenges across sectors such as energy and finance.

Key responsibilities

• Execute project assignments in modelling, digital transformation, and business/IT analysis.
• Develop predictive models using machine learning, AI, and statistical methods (supervised/unsupervised learning, econometrics, forecasting).
• Design and implement constraint‑optimization solutions and simulation models.
• Apply algorithmic knowledge to process large and unstructured data sets (big data).
• Contribute to internal initiatives: enhance Sia’s data‑science offering and support business development activities.

Required profile

• University Master in applied mathematics, IT or a related field.
• 0–3 years of experience as a consultant.
• Strong interest in data science, AI, and sectors such as energy and finance.
• Analytical mindset, result‑oriented, rigorous and committed.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Fluent in French, Dutch and English; willing to travel for temporary assignments abroad.
