Construction Manager / Site Engineer for Industrial Projects

About the role

We are seeking a Construction Manager / Site Engineer to lead decommissioning and dismantling activities on industrial sites. You will act as the main interface between the design office, client and contractors, ensuring safe and compliant execution of works.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise on‑site decommissioning and dismantling operations.
• Coordinate communication between the study office, client and contractors.
• Inspect contractor activities and verify compliance with execution drawings and methodology.
• Monitor QA/QC requirements and ensure quality standards are met.
• Manage technical interfaces and design modifications.
• Participate in regular stakeholder meetings covering progress, challenges, HSE and interfaces.
• Draft work orders, issue execution notes and review contractor progress reports.
• Continuously exchange information on project developments and studies.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in civil or structural engineering.
• Relevant experience in an engineering or contractor environment, preferably on industrial projects.
• Fluency in Dutch and either French or English.
• Strong technical writing skills for clear notes and reports.
