Component Manager

About the role

As a Component Manager you are responsible for the end‑to‑end ownership, standardisation, and optimisation of components within our power and data centre solutions. The role ensures that all components are standardised, cost‑efficient, available, and future‑proof across their full lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain component master‑data in the ERP system and own the full component lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain component roadmaps aligned with product strategy, ensuring scalability and reusability across product lines.
• Monitor reliability, performance and compliance of components, proactively managing risks such as lead‑time issues, obsolescence and single‑sourcing.
• Act as the technical counterpart to Procurement, aligning supplier and market strategies with component requirements.
• Serve as the liaison between Engineering and Procurement, supporting cross‑functional teams.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (or bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years experience), preferably in electro‑mechanics.
• Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical components, especially in power and data‑centre environments.
• Solid grasp of system‑level impact of component decisions and modular product architectures.
• Analytical, data‑driven mindset with experience in commercial offers and margin optimisation.
• Basic knowledge of Python or scripting; fluent in French, Dutch and English.
