Compliance Officer

About the role

As a Compliance Officer at SD Worx you will safeguard the company by ensuring all sanctions, export‑control and country‑risk requirements are met. Key responsibilities

• Perform daily and periodic screening of customers, prospects, suppliers and partners against applicable sanctions lists, investigate potential matches and escalate confirmed hits.
• Monitor and interpret export‑control regulations, translate them into operational frameworks and ensure consistent application across business activities.
• Develop and maintain the country‑risk framework, monitor geopolitical developments and provide guidance on high‑risk jurisdictions.
• Track regulatory changes from EU, UN, UK, US and other authorities, update internal policies, controls and screening logic accordingly.
• Support the AML/Financial Crime team by integrating sanctions indicators into the broader financial‑crime control framework and assisting with investigations and case documentation.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sanctions compliance, export‑control or financial‑crime monitoring.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail when reviewing screening results.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with internal stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to stay up‑to‑date with evolving regulatory landscapes and translate them into practical actions.
