Communication Officer

About the role

We are seeking a Communication Officer to support both internal and external communication initiatives for a global leader in maritime and environmental infrastructure solutions. The role ensures consistent, high‑quality messaging across all corporate channels and helps raise the organization’s visibility.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute internal and external communication campaigns.
• Coordinate communication projects, including planning, stakeholder alignment, and execution.
• Identify opportunities to enhance organizational visibility through events, media support, and partnerships.
• Create and edit content for websites, social media, newsletters, and internal platforms.
• Manage daily social‑media activity to maintain engaging and consistent messaging.
• Maintain and improve communication tools, systems, and processes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align messaging with organizational needs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a communication or marketing role.
• Fluency in English and Dutch.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft SharePoint.
• Experience using Drupal content‑management system.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
• Experience with photo and video editing tools.
