Commercial Manager – Data Centre Projects

About the role

We are seeking a Commercial Manager to join our Data Centre division in Charleroi, Belgium. The role supports the construction team on large‑scale data centre projects, ensuring commercial performance and risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor contract compliance and advise the construction team on contractual obligations.
• Identify and report commercial risks to senior management.
• Prepare monthly progress applications, including re‑measurements, variations, day‑works and claims.
• Coordinate operational procurement activities together with the Procurement Department.
• Manage subcontractor accounts from award through interim valuation, variations and final settlement.
• Forecast turnover and cash‑flow, and produce accurate commercial reports.
• Review correspondence from employers, designers and subcontractors to flag critical contractual items.
• Mentor and lead the on‑site commercial team.

Required profile

• Relevant third‑level qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Economics.
• Minimum 8 years of post‑qualification experience, preferably in the data‑centre or electrical sector.
• Proven ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong presentation, verbal and written communication skills.
