Commercial Director – Sales & Marketing (Benelux)

About the role

We are seeking a Sales & Marketing Director to lead commercial performance across the Benelux region. The role blends strategic ownership with hands‑on execution, shaping growth, optimizing go‑to‑market strategies, and building high‑performing teams in a fast‑evolving healthcare environment.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the commercial strategy for Benelux, including sales and marketing plans that drive sustainable growth.
• Lead forecasting, budgeting, and planning processes while ensuring alignment between sales execution and brand strategy.
• Optimize processes, performance tracking, and team effectiveness across sales and marketing functions.
• Coach, mentor, and develop team members to build future leadership capability.
• Partner with senior leadership and cross‑functional stakeholders to align regional priorities with broader international objectives.
• Monitor market dynamics, competition, and customer behavior, translating insights into actionable strategies.
• Collaborate with marketing, medical, HR, and finance to support hiring, training, and capability building of commercial teams.

Required profile

• 7–10 years of experience in sales and marketing within healthcare, medtech, or life sciences.
• Strong knowledge of the Benelux healthcare landscape; experience in wound care or skin care is a plus.
• Proven track record in building and leading high‑performing teams.
• Strategic thinker with operational execution skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Fluent in English and Dutch and/or French.
