Cloud Solution Architect

About the role

Sopra Steria is looking for a Cloud Solution Architect to drive Azure‑focused architecture and solution selling. You will work with customers to translate business needs into cloud‑native designs, supporting digital transformation initiatives across various industries.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and support Azure cloud solutions for both brown‑field and green‑field projects.
• Create roadmaps, solution portfolios and reference architectures aligned with the Cloud Adoption Framework and Well‑Architected principles.
• Lead requirement‑gathering workshops, translate business objectives into technical specifications, and propose SaaS and PaaS offerings.
• Collaborate with sales and pre‑sales teams to identify new opportunities and support (pre)‑sales activities.
• Guide and inspire delivery teams, ensuring best practices and quality standards are met.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Extensive experience designing and delivering cloud projects, preferably on Azure.
• Strong commercial mindset with the ability to analyse complex problems and propose business‑focused solutions.
• Fluent in English and either Dutch or French.
