About the role
Elia Group is building the Elia Digital Platform (EDP), a hybrid‑cloud, service‑oriented environment that enables self‑service development and operation of software products. As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer you will design, implement and maintain the container infrastructure, focusing on networking and security across Kubernetes clusters and their consumers.
Key responsibilities
- Implement and manage Kubernetes cluster networking and cloud‑native networking services.
- Operate and harden network security for workloads and services.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure automation using Terraform and Ansible.
- Deploy observability solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk) to monitor health, performance and cost.
- Collaborate closely with infrastructure architects, delivery teams and networking specialists.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years of IT infrastructure operations experience in a high‑availability environment (e.g., government, telco, fintech).
- Strong background with cloud technologies and hybrid‑cloud deployments.
- Solid understanding of IT service management processes (incident, change, problem management).
Required skills
- Kubernetes and Container Network Interface (CNI) providers.
- Infoblox, CoreDNS, Traefik networking services.
- Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure as code.
- Scripting with Shell, YAML and Python.
- Monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana and Splunk.
- Experience with virtual network, compute, storage (NFS, object storage) and GPU fabric.
- CI/CD pipeline integration and DevOps practices.
