Cloud Engineer – Azure, Terraform (Remote, EU)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to design, build, and optimise secure, scalable infrastructure on Microsoft Azure. The role is fully remote and open to candidates based in the EU, working closely with development teams to deliver automated cloud solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and manage scalable Azure cloud environments.
• Develop and maintain Azure landing zones, governance models and security best practices.
• Automate infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Collaborate with development teams to support CI/CD pipelines and reliable software delivery.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and provide long‑term solutions.
• Contribute to the continuous evolution of a modern Azure platform.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Strong knowledge of Azure networking, governance and security.
• Proven experience with Terraform and IaC practices.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines, preferably with GitHub Actions.
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle and DevOps principles.
• Azure Administrator Associate certification is a plus.
• Familiarity with Azure API Management (APIM) is an advantage.
