Cloud Administration Engineer (Medior) – External Consultant

About the role

We are looking for a Medior Cloud Administration Engineer to join a leading Belgian healthcare and pharmaceutical retail organization on an external consultancy basis. The role starts in the second half of 2026 and will be embedded within the Infrastructure teams, reporting to a Cloud Architect.

Key responsibilities

• Manage Azure subscriptions, resource groups, virtual machines, storage, networking and identity services.
• Ensure integration with the broader Microsoft ecosystem (Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, security and compliance tools).
• Execute patching, backup and restore operations.
• Automate provisioning, scaling and standard configurations using IaC (Bicep).
• Monitor systems and handle incidents with Azure Monitor, Defender, Sentinel and the Microsoft 365 security stack.
• Apply and maintain Azure policies, RBAC and Key Vault.
• Produce clear technical documentation.

Required profile

• Medior‑level experience in Azure cloud administration.
• Fluent in Dutch and/or French, with strong English communication skills.
• Ability to work on‑site three days a week in Anderlecht and remotely the remaining days.
• Performance‑driven mindset with a willingness to extend the contract based on project needs.
