Cleaning Team Leader – Leuven

About the role

As a Cleaning Team Leader for Iris in Leuven, you will guide a dedicated cleaning crew, ensuring client sites are spotless while upholding the highest standards of safety and quality. You will act as the main point of contact for clients and represent Iris with professionalism.

Key responsibilities

• Motivate and lead the cleaning team, fostering a positive and strong team spirit.
• Execute cleaning tasks with attention to detail, maintaining a customer‑oriented approach.
• Coach colleagues, adjust work plans when needed, and keep a pleasant working atmosphere.
• Ensure client environments are immaculate and respond promptly to additional requests.
• Follow all safety regulations, prioritising health and safety for yourself, the team and clients.
• Handle administrative follow‑up accurately and efficiently.
• Serve as the primary liaison for the client.

Required profile

• Motivated, customer‑focused and able to complete tasks collaboratively.
• Proven ability to lead and inspire a team as a true people manager.
• Solution‑oriented, proactive and capable of handling challenges independently or with supervision.
• Experience in the cleaning sector and a Category B driving licence.
• VCA certificate is an asset.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; French is a plus.
• Willing to work full‑time, polite, flexible and precise.
