Chief Technology Officer – EU Institutional Account

About the role

The Chief Technology Officer / Chief Architect for the EU Institutional Account is a senior, market‑facing technology executive responsible for defining the regional technology vision, driving innovation‑led growth and enabling sales through differentiated technical strategy and thought leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Define and articulate a multi‑year technology vision for EU accounts, aligning Atos’s roadmap with the EU Digital Decade, sovereignty mandates and interoperability frameworks (EIRA, EIF).
• Act as chief evangelist for Atos’s cloud, cybersecurity, AI/ML, data platforms, automation and digital transformation solutions, translating technology into business value.
• Continuously assess emerging technologies, industry trends and competitor positioning to shape differentiated offerings.
• Develop and maintain an EU‑specific technology radar and provide feedback to Global Business Lines for portfolio development.
• Lead Atos’s AI strategy for EU institutions, covering Generative AI, Large Language Models, Agentic AI and intelligent automation, ensuring compliance with the EU AI Act.
• Architect security‑by‑design, resilience and compliance frameworks that satisfy NIS2, DORA, GDPR and the EU AI Act.
• Collaborate with sales, solution directors, delivery leadership and partner ecosystem to drive adoption and proof‑of‑concept implementations.

Required profile

• Senior technology executive with extensive experience in the public sector or EU institutional environment.
• Deep understanding of EU digital policies, Digital Decade goals, sovereignty and interoperability frameworks.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and evangelize technology vision.
• Experience leading AI strategy, compliance with the EU AI Act and security‑by‑design initiatives.
