CAD Product Designer – 6‑Month Mission

About the role

We are seeking a CAD Product Designer for a 6‑month mission dedicated to the development of wiper systems and related components. The position covers the entire product lifecycle, from concept creation to industrialisation, and can be undertaken on a freelance or contract basis.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop components using Catia V5 (3D & 2D).
• Create detailed production drawings for tools such as injection moulds, stamping dies, and extrusion profiles.
• Perform technical analyses including FEA, tolerance studies, and collision checks.
• Adapt designs to OEM customer specifications.
• Manage and release technical documentation and CAD data.
• Support prototype development and testing phases.
• Lead selected component projects, including DFMEA follow‑up.

Required profile

• Strong experience in CAD design, with Catia V5 as a mandatory skill.
• Background in mechanical engineering or product design.
• Knowledge of FEA or other simulation tools is a plus.
• Comfortable working with technical data and engineering standards.
• Fluent in English; French is an advantage.
• Autonomous, structured, and detail‑oriented.
