Business Development Representative

About the role

Spott is building an AI‑native recruitment platform and is looking for a Business Development Representative to help launch its outbound sales motion. This entry‑level position will work closely with the go‑to‑market team and a senior Account Executive mentor to generate new pipeline and qualify opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute outbound prospecting campaigns using cold calls, email sequences and LinkedIn outreach.
• Research target accounts, craft outreach messaging and qualify meetings for the sales team.
• Book and qualify meetings, ensuring a steady flow of opportunities for senior sales colleagues.
• Participate in sales calls to observe the full sales cycle and learn best practices.
• Collaborate with the GTM team to refine outreach strategies and improve conversion rates.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Economics, Engineering, Communications or a related field.
• Recent graduate or up to 2 years of experience in sales development, business development or a junior sales role.
• Hands‑on experience with outbound prospecting (cold calls, email sequences, LinkedIn).
• High energy, self‑motivation and a strong drive to learn and succeed.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English; Dutch or French is a plus.
• Interest in sales technology, recruitment software or SaaS.
