Business Controller

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Financial Business Controller to join Redwire Space NV’s finance team. The role will lead the full financial planning cycle, produce high‑quality management reporting, and partner with operations and leadership to drive business performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the budgeting and forecasting process and support overall business planning.
• Prepare and analyse management reports, variance analysis and performance insights.
• Provide financial analysis and decision‑support to the Leadership Team, Project Managers and the PMO.
• Partner with operations to improve project and business performance.
• Promote finance literacy across the organisation and communicate financial insights to non‑financial stakeholders.
• Support financial governance, internal controls and SOX compliance.
• Act as backup for the Financial Controller during month‑end close activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Controller or in a similar finance role.
• Strong FP&A, analytical and business‑partnering capabilities.
• Solid accounting knowledge and a hands‑on mentality.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
• Familiarity with IFRS and/or US GAAP reporting environments and SOX is a plus.
• Experience in a project‑oriented environment, preferably engineering or industrial projects, is a plus.
