Business Controller – Finance Business Partner

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Business Controller to join our growing team in East Flanders. In this role you will act as a trusted finance partner, turning financial data into actionable insights that influence strategic decisions across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide performance management and business partnering by translating results into clear recommendations.
• Lead monthly management reporting, budget preparation, forecasting and scenario analysis.
• Build and evaluate business cases for investments, analysing ROI and cost‑optimisation opportunities.
• Improve reporting processes, work with ERP and BI tools, and develop dashboards for actionable insights.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
• Several years of experience in controlling, FP&A, audit or financial analysis.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to challenge assumptions and identify improvement opportunities.
• Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English.
• Experience in manufacturing, logistics, FMCG, technology or an international environment is a plus.
