Business Analyst – Investment & Financial Services

About the role

Phinest is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join the Invest & Financial Insurances Tribe, supporting BNP Paribas Fortis in the development of new investment services and the implementation of Capital Gains Tax solutions. You will work closely with product owners, development teams, and stakeholders across retail and private banking.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Product Owner and Custody Squad to define and refine business requirements.
• Perform impact analyses, gather regulatory, legal, and process requirements, and build business cases.
• Translate business needs into functional features and ensure clear documentation for development teams.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand‑ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives) and provide regular status updates.
• Lead change‑management activities, including product launches, go‑to‑market strategies, and IT releases.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to understand and challenge their needs.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in securities or custody.
• Strong background in retail and private banking, with exposure to investment products and financial regulations.
• Proven ability to work in Agile environments and lead workshops.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
