Brand Controller – Finance & Performance

About the role

The Brand Controller will join the Benelux Shared Service Organization in Brussels, reporting to the FP&A Manager and supporting the Country General Manager. The role combines financial reporting, performance analysis, and process improvement to drive profitability across the brand portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct monthly variance analysis of revenue, margins, operating and marketing costs, and profitability by customer and product line.
• Support month‑end closing and budgeting processes, preparing full financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) and monthly provisions/accruals.
• Prepare and present monthly management reports for local and central decision‑makers.
• Assist the Marketing team with advertising and promotion cost tracking (POSM, media, local purchases).
• Evaluate capital‑expenditure projects and perform ad‑hoc financial analyses.
• Coach and mentor the FP&A intern.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of business controlling experience with a solid grounding in financial accounting.
• Proven ability to work in a complex, product‑focused, international environment; auditing background is a plus.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling capabilities, with clear report‑writing skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Deep understanding of accounting policies and IFRS.
• Excellent communication skills, collaborative team player, fluent in French and English; Dutch is an asset.
