About the role
We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Engineer to provide both onsite and remote technical assistance to end users. The position focuses on troubleshooting hardware, software, and basic networking issues to ensure smooth IT operations and minimal downtime.
Key responsibilities
- Provide onsite and remote technical support for end users.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and operating system issues.
- Install, configure, and upgrade desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
- Perform system imaging, deployment, and workstation setup.
- Support Microsoft Windows OS and standard business applications such as MS Office and Outlook.
- Handle user account setup, password resets, and basic Active Directory tasks.
- Diagnose and resolve basic network connectivity problems.
- Manage IT assets and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Respond to service‑desk tickets and meet SLA targets.
- Support IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) activities and escalate complex issues when needed.
Required profile
- Proven experience in desktop support or a similar IT support role.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with end users.

- Microsoft Windows operating systems
- MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Active Directory basics
- Hardware troubleshooting (desktops, laptops, printers)
- System imaging and deployment tools
- Basic networking (TCP/IP, Wi‑Fi connectivity)
- Ticketing/Service‑desk platforms
- IMAC processes
