Automotive Technical Specialist – Level 2 (Dutch / French / English)

About the role

MSX International supports automotive manufacturers in more than 80 countries and is looking for a Level 2 automotive technical specialist to act as the expert voice behind its workshops. The role is remote and covers the Dutch-speaking market: you will guide dealer and workshop technicians through complex diagnostic cases by phone and online.

Key responsibilities

• Act as second-level technical support for dealers and independent workshops, resolving complex diagnostic and repair cases by phone and online.
• Find the root cause of technical deviations on mechanical, electrical/electronic, hybrid and electric systems and guide technicians step by step to a first-time fix.
• Coach dealer technicians, identify competence gaps and recommend targeted training.
• Monitor repair processes and escalated cases, report on dealer performance and propose process improvements.
• Document complex technical issues clearly for the manufacturer's central technical organisation.
• Build lasting relationships with the workshops in your region, keeping the end customer in focus.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of hands-on workshop experience as a Master Technician, Diagnostic Technician or similar, within a dealer network or professional workshop.
• Fluent Dutch and French, plus good spoken and written English.
• Lives in Belgium or the Netherlands and is eligible to work in the EU.
• Applications without hands-on automotive field experience will not be considered.

Required skills

• OEM diagnostic tools, wiring diagrams and measurements (multimeter, oscilloscope).
• Solid knowledge of mechanical systems, electronics, CAN networks and hybrid/electric propulsion.
• A strong plus: high-voltage / hybrid qualification (HEV Level 2 or 3 or equivalent), L1 technical support experience, OEM dealer network experience, automotive engineering diploma, coaching experience and good MS Office skills.
