Audit Supervisor

About the role

As an Audit Supervisor you will lead audit engagements for Belgian companies, ensuring compliance with International Standards on Auditing and KPMG’s internal methodology. You will act as the main point of contact for clients throughout the audit cycle and support the development of junior team members.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute audit field work, statutory reporting and completion tasks for Belgian clients.
• Prepare audit files in line with ISA and KPMG standards and draft audit reports.
• Supervise, coach and review the work of junior auditors.
• Maintain regular communication with managers, partners and clients on audit progress.
• Identify business opportunities by staying updated on KPMG’s service offerings.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in commercial engineering, commercial sciences or applied economic sciences (accountancy specialization is a plus).
• Minimum two years of experience as an external auditor.
• Critical mindset with strong professional judgment.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Commercial awareness and ability to assess audit risks.
