Associate Director, Digital Media

About the role

We are seeking an Associate Director, Digital Media to lead performance‑driven paid media strategies for high‑growth restaurant and multi‑location retail brands. Based in Belgium and operating in a remote‑friendly environment, you will combine hands‑on campaign oversight with team leadership to deliver measurable business impact across Meta, Google, TikTok, Connected TV and programmatic DSP platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and continuously optimise multi‑channel paid media campaigns on Meta Ads, Google Ads, TikTok, Connected TV and programmatic DSPs.
• Manage and mentor a team of 2‑3 digital media buyers, providing strategic guidance and performance support.
• Oversee campaign tracking, budget pacing and performance reporting for multiple clients.
• Collaborate with brand managers, analytics, creative and media planning teams to deliver integrated campaigns.
• Translate performance data into actionable insights, recommendations and strategic direction.
• Build and present detailed performance reports using data‑storytelling techniques.
• Test, refine and evolve media strategies based on platform changes and performance trends.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in digital media buying and performance marketing across Meta, Google Ads and programmatic/CTV platforms.
• Proven track record managing large‑scale budgets (typically $500 K+ per month) for multiple brands.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into compelling narratives.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in client‑facing environments.
• Self‑motivated, independent and comfortable working in a fast‑paced, data‑driven setting.
